Mount Moiwa is a beautiful and towering mountain located in the central part of Sapporo. In order to access the top of the mountain, you will need to ride in a cable car. As you ascend to the top of the mountain in the cable car, you are able to catch a stunning view of Sapporo. When you reach the top of the mountain, you will be introduced to a planetarium and theater.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, you will have a better and higher view of Sapporo. The best time to ride on the ropeway is during the night. The glistening and shiny lights of the city are breathtaking.
Reaching the entrance the ropeway requires about a 10 minute walk from the bus station. This video shows the walk from the entrance of the ropeway to the bus station in Sapporo.
