14 Days Japan Travel Itinerary

Touring Tokyo and a Journey through Japan-- these are two books I have written about my travels in Japan. Check these out!!!

Where is Odaiba?

Odaiba is an artificial island, located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. There are several famous attractions on this beautiful island 20 miles from Yokahoma. One of the attractions is the popular Gundam Robot and the other is the rainbow bridge.

What is the history of the Rainbow Bridge?

The Rainbow bridge was erected in 1987 by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The project was not completed, however, until 1993. The rainbow bridge measures a stunning 2,618 feet long and can be accessed by vehicles and passengers. The bridge crosses the north side of the Tokyo Bay and connects the Odaiba waterfront with the Shibaura Pier. The best time to see this gorgeous bridge is at night. It is the solar energy on the bridge that activates the lights. The rainbow from the bridge comes from the rainbow like colors. However, the rainbow colors are not always displayed. The colors of pink, green, and white are observed depending on a national holiday, day of the week, and even the season in Japan.
