A taste of Europe in Japan- Venus Fort in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan

Updated: Jul 5, 2023

14 Days Japan Travel Itinerary

Touring Tokyo and a Journey through Japan-- these are two books I have written about my travels in Japan. Check these out!!!

If you love the European scenery, Odaiba is the place to go. This European architecture is found in Odaiba's unique Venus Fort Palette town, a 5 minute walk from the famous Gundam statue. Venus Fort is essentially a giant three floored shopping mall replete with a myriad of unique and cool European themed designer shops. On the first floor of the mall is where the European scenery comes to light. The interior of this mall is beautiful resembling the European Renaissance period.

In the middle of the mall is a European like fountain called the Fountain Plaza. During the Christmas season, there are several illuminations next to the fountain. Encircling a great water fountain are stone columns. Holding the white fountain like circular bowl with both hands are three white Greek Goddesses statues. On each side of the fountain are three white Greek Goddesses statues. The goddesses have their arms extended as an indication of catching the fountain bowl if it were to fall.

While walking around in the area, you can notice a significant change of the ceiling as it alters from a beautiful clear blue sky to sunset.
